Introduction Empress Dowager Cixi was a Chinese noblewoman, and she effectively controlled the Chinese government in the late Qing dynasty for 50 years.












Sketch I wrote down Latin alphabet letters with Chinese brush techniques.











Design The Chinese character, 永 (Yong), carries an important Chinese writing principle. It’s used to illustrate the eight basic strokes of Chinese characters.













Application Based on the modular, I designed the unique typeface, specimen book and poster.
